Supa

My name is Superman, I'm called that because I am always walking around, many people know me, I’m a talkative person, and a clown like person… so I guess that’s why I am called Superman.  I am a street seller, I sell buai, peanuts, smokes… sometimes I buy biscuits and drinks and re-sell them.  

During this time it’s been a bit hard, because I can’t sell buai and daka at the moment (due to lockdown laws) and even the stores have restricted opening times and sometimes there aren't enough products to buy or people to sell to.  The other side is that we have been able to increase our profit a little bit because we have increased our prices because it is harder to get some of these products, so we can charge a little bit more.

Some of the positive things that have come from this lockdown is that it has taught us a few things.  It has taught us how to look at our health and take care of ourselves.  It has also taught me how to look at my savings and to create some simple book-keeping to make sure if another situation like this happens in the future I am prepared for it.  I think this has helped us to understand our lives better and prepare in advance.
